UPDATE REGARDING THE RESCHEDULED WINTER CHEER CLINIC:
On Monday Evening, January 27, at Blue Earth Area High School Gym, by 5:45 pm, we ask you to bring your Cheer Clinic Athlete to the High School Unity Hall Commons, so we can have a full refresher practice, before the game. Please have your athlete dressed in black shorts/capri’s, TENNIS/ATHLETIC SHOES, along with the clinic t-shirt, and make sure they have their shaker poms. Hair should be IN A PONYTAIL, with their ribbon, and PLEASE NO JEWELRY. Please make sure your Athlete has eaten PRIOR to the practice time.
After the athletes have practiced/warmed up, they will sit together, in the stands, as a group, when the game starts, about 7: 15/7:30pm. During this time, the Athletes will be cheering on the Basketball Team, from the stands, along with the Blue Earth Area Varsity Cheerleaders. The expectation is that they Sit, Watch and Cheer. No running around to do this or that, get extra food, etc. They are allowed to have their water bottles with them. Please help your Athlete understand this. The Cheerleaders and Athletes will line up in Unity Hall, with 3 minutes left in the first half.
When the first half of the game is complete and the Basketball players and Officials have left the court, the Athletes will Spirit on, and provide a fun-filled half-time show. K-4-5-6 Graders will perform on the Home Side; Grades 1-2-3 will perform on the Players Bench Side. When their performance is finished, they will be lining up to form a tunnel for the BEA Varsity Basketball Players, by the southeast end of the court.
When the Basketball Players have completed entering the court, at the end of the half, the Cheer Clinic Athletes are free to leave with their Guardian.
We hope this has been a fun experience for you and your Athlete! Please consider participating in our next Clinic. Watch the Community Education booklet for details!
Thank you for the fun!
Allie, Tiffany, Layla, Juli, Lexi, Vanessa, Liberty, Lily, Kenzi, Alexis and Coach Rachel
