Invitations have been mailed for our Fall Early Childhood Screening date. If you would like to have your child attend screening, but have not received an invitation, please let us know using the contact info in the image. ECS is a simple review of your child’s vision, hearing, health history, immunization and development. It helps to identify children who may benefit from district and community resources available to help in their development.

🪦The Dead Relative Society is finally being resurrected starting October 24th! Join fellow genealogy buffs on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm in the Blue Earth Community Library to learn tips and tricks to make your genealogy searches more fruitful and accurate. No previous experience is necessary. Some of us have done research for years, others are just starting to get into their family history. With constantly improving DNA tests and online sources, there are so many options for finding new branches on our family trees. Come to share your knowledge or ask questions or just chat. This past Saturday, we enjoyed an excellent car care class led by Eric Graham, a seasoned diesel technician at Ertman Trucking, with valuable assistance from Vanessa Wirkus. Eric's expertise was evident as he answered all our questions, leaving us all more knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance. 🚗💡

Coming soon to a mailbox near you! 📬 The 2023 Fall Community Education booklet and BEA Briefing are being printed as we speak, and will be delivered by mail to all households in the Blue Earth Area school district in the next week or so. Things to look for: Fun new classes being offered for adults, including Lynette's Touch of Design home decor crafting classes, a couple of tempting seasonal cooking classes 🍲, a Car Care class 🚗, and a Brunch Charcuterie class 🥞 name a few of our offerings. We have an abundance of exciting activities for our youth, such as Superhero Academy 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️, a couple of yummy cooking classes 🍪, and yay--4-H classes are back 🍀! Don't forget to check out BEA's newest staff in the BEA Briefing, and look for articles from our staff members about many topics, including community engagement, Mrs. Ackerman's trip with students to the Bahamas, and FREE Preschool. We can't wait to see what catches your interest! 😃

DID YOU KNOW? We have a secure Dropbox for anyone who needs to drop off paperwork after hours for anyone at school--this includes the high school, middle school, elementary school, the district office, the transportation office, Community Ed and any other staff housed within our school buildings. This is great info for families turning in forms and paperwork before school starts! The box is checked twice each weekday--in the morning and at the end of the day. Please--no payments should be left in the dropbox; deliver them directly to the office.
