Buc football coaches and players are hosting a tackling camp focused on proper fundamentals using Atavus and Hawk Tackling techniques. The camp emphasizes safety, confidence, and correct technique while helping players build skills that translate to game situations.
Parents and youth coaches are encouraged to attend and learn these safe tackling methods. This camp is ideal for players looking to build strong fundamentals, improve confidence in contact, and develop habits that translate directly to game situations—the Buccaneer way.

Join us between 9:00 -11:00 to practice biking skills, receive a free helmet, and learn the rules of the road. At 11:00, take a guided ride with friends and family on marked bike routes around Blue Earth. Bring your own bike or contact Community Ed if you need to borrow one (children younger than 3rd grade will need to bring their own bike). Parents are encouraged to attend; bikes will be available for adults on a first come first serve basis. Children must be able to ride independently to participate. Sponsored by City of Blue Earth Parks and Rec Department, Active Living Coalition, and the Blue Earth Police Department.

Attention Drivers Ed eligible students and families:
Blue Earth Area High School offers Drivers Education as a free optional for-credit class during the school year for 9th graders. Choose this option if you like while registering your current 8th grader for their 9th grade class schedule.
Community Ed also offers a Summer Drivers Ed classroom session for anyone preferring to take it in the summer, rather than during the school year.
Students who opt for the Community Ed Summer Session will be responsible for paying the classroom fee of $170 as well as the Behind the Wheel fee of $230, and will forgo earning high school credit.
